PawClaim ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
What we collect
- Documents you upload: Vet records, denial letters, vet bills, and policy documents you submit for analysis. These are processed to generate your results and are not stored permanently after your session ends.
- Text you paste: Vet notes or other text you enter directly into our tools. Processed in the same session and not stored.
- Account information: If you create an account, we collect your email address and encrypted password.
- Payment information: Processed directly by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Usage data: Pages visited, tools used, and general usage patterns via analytics. No personally identifiable information is attached to this data.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data to any third party.
- We do not share your pet records, documents, or personal information with insurance companies.
- We do not use your documents to train AI models beyond the immediate analysis you requested.
- We do not display advertising or share data with advertisers.
How we use your data
Documents and text you submit are used solely to generate the analysis or document you requested (appeal letter, vet bill audit, pre-enrollment scan, etc.). We may retain anonymized, non-identifiable aggregate data — such as claim denial patterns by insurer — to improve our tools and publish transparency reports. This data cannot be traced back to any individual.
Third-party services
- Supabase: Authentication and account storage. Data stored in the US.
- Stripe: Payment processing. Governed by Stripe's privacy policy.
- Groq / AI providers: Document analysis. Documents are processed under API terms that prohibit training on submitted data.
- Vercel: Hosting and infrastructure.
- Resend: Transactional email delivery.
Data retention
Documents you upload are not retained after your session. Account information is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing hello@pawclaim.com.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@pawclaim.com. If you are located in California, you may have additional rights under CCPA.
